The White Baboon
Verse 1:
Look!
There’s the king of the jungle
Massive body, ebony fur
He’s the Big baboon
The top of the food chain
He’s mister right
Head of all the mister wrongs
And I wonder to myself
Why am I just one of crowd?
Chorus:
‘Cause the king of the jungle
is just the king of the jungle
not the king of himself
not the king of you and me
and he can have his freakin’ jungle
because I don’t care
I’m the king of my thoughts
I’m the king of my emotions
I’m the white baboon
Different, but the same.
Verse 2:
Well, the king of the jungle
Is the king of the lady’s
But I don’t care
Because the lady’s that hang
Around the king of the jungle
Are just a bunch of thoughtless
drones
Without a will or emotions
Without a soul or a purpose
I have my own mind
And she should have hers…
(Chorus)
Verse 3:
So I’m sorry I can’t be the king
of the jungle
Not that I care much
Because my will is my own jungle
And my will is more important
than the other man’s jungle
And his drones can follow him
off the cliff
The cliff of enslavement
