A Half Truth is, in Fact, Whole
If a half truth were a half truth, than a whole truth would have to include every miniscule detail about the truth. For example, if i were to eat a jar of cookies and I told someone that i ate a jar of cookies, that would be a half truth if we were going by the old expression. Why is that a half truth you say? Well, in order to be a half truth, it would have to be...well...half of a truth. So, if that were true, then not only would you have to say that you ate the jar of cookies, you would have to mention how many cookies you ate, what time it was down to the nano-second-thingy at the time you ate the cookies, how many crumbs you consumed after you finished with the cookies, the density of each individual cookie, the volume of the cookies, both seperate and all together, how deep the cookie jar was, and on top of all of that, how bad your tummy felt after eating all of those cookies. So I have come to the conclusion that half truths are in fact, whole.
