While we do know that the anniversary party was a much anticipated event for many people, including myself, we have decided it wouldn't work out for a number of reasons which I will not go into. Also for your information, we will remain online for a few more weeks so that everyone gets this message, and so that you can enjoy any content you haven't had time to check out. Go play Knights of the Old Republic and be happy. Goodbye.

    Well, it has come to this. I, the Editor, have decided to leave therandomstatic behind me. It has been an honor and a privilege (and quite an accomplishment, I must say) to create such a large website. After all the work, and all the hours poured into this site, it will be hard to see it go. I will keep a backup of it, but it will no longer remain online. I wish that we could continue to provide new content, but I can no longer continue to update the site without the support of Zach, and with the trouble getting content from Kasey (not his fault). The fate of the anniversary party is undecided; we have not decided whether to throw a going away party or not. We will let you know more when we have decided.

    Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that the contest for the free t-shirt by finding the hidden link is still going. But, considering that nobody will ever find the hidden link, we are going to introduce another contest. We at The Random Static are once again making a new look for our shirts. V3.0 of our shirts is under development. We hope to show these new-theme shirts along with the unveiling of our new look at our First Annually Anniversary Party. Anyways, the contest is for clever quotes that will be showcased on the new shirts. An example being, "Our site heals cancer, or your money back." Or other classic examples like, "The Random Static rhymes with Internet." Send your best quotes (preferably related to our site, or to small blue lobsters) to thecrew@therandomstatic.com. First place prize will recieve one dollar in cold hard cash. Second place will recieve an autographed something of Zach's (he doesn't know about this). And third place will recieve something from Nate's garbage can.

    Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that Fable is coming out soon (depending on where you're getting it will be out in about 4-6 days) and that we are hoping to get some new stuff out the doors pretty soon. Progress on the new template (look of our site) over the past couple of days have been made. Hopefully, it will all be done soon. If all goes well, we will unveil the new look, logo, and more at our First Annual Anniversary Party. More information coming soon, as of right now the only set-in-stone detail is that it will be on the 19. (For all those who are not-knowing of binary, and all those nerds who didn't get it anyway... 19 in binary is 1011, which bears striking resemblance to 10/11, the date of our first update and thus, of our anniversary.)
